When fashion and faith meet.

I’m sure everyone knows these signature yellow bags from Forever 21. One thing you might have missed or haven’t noticed is that there’s something written in the bottom. Ever seen it?

It says John 3:16.

It’s a bible verse, and it has got to be the closest to my heart. Aside from the fact that it’s the first one I ever memorized, it is the one that led me to my faith. This verse is the expression of God’s infinite, magnificent and unconditional love. It is the love and grace of our Father embodied in His son, Jesus. When I truly and deeply understood the gravity of God’s love and what Jesus did on the cross to save us, my life changed and hasn’t been the same since. Because I discovered, understood and accepted the meaning and message of this verse, I dedicated my life to God and committed to worship and serve Him til the end.

That little verse, printed on the bottom of a shopping bag holds great meaning to me. Seeing it there put a huge smile on my face. I’m sure it was placed there for a reason, and if you haven’t discovered what it means yet, I pray you do (or you can ask me, and I’d gladly share it with you). Because it’s much much more than you think it is.

“For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son. That whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”    JOHN 3:16

From tragedy, an amazing work of photojournalism.
